Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Venice). They strolled past the Imagine School at North Port Sharks with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 73-55. The Indians haven't had any issues with the Sharks recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Despite the loss, Imagine School at North Port still got an impressive performance from Wesley Woods, who dropped a double-double with 18 points and 14 rebounds. With that strong performance, Woods is now averaging an impressive 8.5 boards per game. Peyton Rassbach was another key player, putting up 14 points.

The win got Venice back to even at 4-4. As for Imagine School at North Port, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Venice will take on North Port in a holiday battle at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
