Softball Game Preview: Sultan Turks vs. Cedarcrest Red Wolves

Sultan hasn't had much luck against Cedarcrest recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Turks will square off against the Red Wolves at 4:00 p.m. Sultan has given up an average of 13.7 runs per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Sultan managed to slip by South Whidbey the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Turks lost 11-3 to the Falcons on Tuesday. The Turks just can't catch a break and have now endured five losses in a row.

Meanwhile, Cedarcrest came up short against Everett on Monday, falling 13-3.

Cedarcrest has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-11-1 record this season. As for Sultan, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-7.

Sultan suffered a grim 18-0 defeat to Cedarcrest in their previous matchup back in May of 2018. Can the Turks avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
