Softball Recap: Allentown Central Catholic Takes a Loss

Allentown Central Catholic lost against Freedom back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Vikings lost 18-5 to the Patriots. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Gianna Menecola was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one home run and four RBI. That home run marked the first that she launched this season.

Allentown Central Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Freedom, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Allentown Central Catholic will take on rival Parkland at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Freedom is set to face off against their familiar foe East Stroudsburg North at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
