Basketball Recap: Allentown Triumphs

Allentown had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They strolled past the Monmouth Regional Falcons with points to spare on Saturday, taking the game 57-42. That's more bragging rights for the Redbirds, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Allentown's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Monmouth Regional, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Allentown will head out to take on Lawrence at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Monmouth Regional, they will challenge Red Bank Catholic at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
