Lemont is a perfect 8-0 against Oak Forest since April of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Saturday. The Lemont HS are taking a road trip to challenge the Bengals at 10:30 a.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Thursday, Lemont made easy work of Evergreen Park and carried off an 8-1 win. The victory continues a trend for Lemont in their matchups with Evergreen Park: they've now won nine in a row.

Meanwhile, Oak Forest kept a clean sheet against Bremen on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Braves by a score of 2-0.

Lemont's win bumped their record up to 11-5. As for Oak Forest, their victory bumped their record up to 11-7.

Everything went Lemont's way against Oak Forest in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, as Lemont made off with a 7-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Lemont HS since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
