Soccer Game Preview: Hilton Head Christian Academy vs. First Baptist School

The Hilton Head Christian Academy Eagles will head out on the road to take on the First Baptist School Hurricanes at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. First Baptist School took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Hilton Head Christian Academy, who comes in off a win.

Hilton Head Christian Academy's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over John Paul II. Hilton Head Christian Academy haven't had any issues with John Paul II recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, there was early excitement for First Baptist School after they claimed the first goal on Thursday, however, they wouldn't score again. They fell just short of Porter-Gaud by a score of 2-1. One thing that didn't help First Baptist School's chances was the red card they were dealt courtesy of Parker Thomas.

First Baptist School's goal came courtesy of Josh Laney, who's now up to six this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, First Baptist School fell to 6-1. As for Hilton Head Christian Academy, their win was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 9-3.
