Volleyball Recap: Emmaus Snags Seventh Victory in Last Eight Games

With a playoff win on the line, Emmaus rose to the challenge on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Delaware Valley Warriors as they made off with a 3-0 win.

Emmaus' got stronger as the match went on, holding Delaware Valley to fewer and fewer points set over set. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-16, 25-13.

Among those leading the charge was Sophia Freemont, who had 12 digs and one assist. She has been hot, having posted 12 or more digs the last eight times she's played.

Emmaus has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 30-5-2 record this season. As for Delaware Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-7.
