Basketball Recap: Langtree Charter Academy Takes a Loss

Langtree Charter Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They had to suffer through a 52-20 loss at the hands of the Mountain Island Charter Raptors. The Lions were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 34-5.

Reagan Hart went supernova for Mountain Island Charter, almost dropping a triple-double on 16 points, nine assists, and ten steals. With that strong performance, Hart is now averaging an impressive 2.2 steals per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Kayla Fudge, who posted eight points and 11 boards.

Langtree Charter Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 4-15. As for Mountain Island Charter, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-9.

Langtree Charter Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 56-31 loss against Pine Lake Prep on the 7th. Mountain Island Charter has also already played their next contest (against Corvian Community), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
