Volleyball Recap: Washburn Comes Up Short

The Washburn Millers didn't have quite enough to beat the Triton Cobras on Saturday and fell 2-1.

Washburn's defeat dropped their record down to 15-6. As for Triton, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 17-3.

Washburn has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against Rosemount on the 4th. As for Triton, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Minnetonka on the 4th.
