Monticello is 10-0 against Monument Valley since January of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Monticello Buckaroo will challenge the Monument Valley Cougars at 7:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Monticello has five straight wins, Monument Valley has six straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

On Friday, everything went Monticello's way against Pinnacle as Monticello made off with a 63-42 victory. The Buckaroo have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five contests by 21 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Monument Valley was beaten by Whitehorse 76-32 on Wednesday.

Monticello is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.7 points per game. As for Monument Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 2-8.

Monticello strolled past Monument Valley in their previous matchup back in February of 2024 by a score of 64-50. Will Monticello repeat their success, or does Monument Valley have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
