Baseball Recap: Absegami Extends Winning Streak to Three

Absegami won against Middle Township on Wednesday with four runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Friday. The Braves won by a run and slipped past the Cherry Hill East Cougars 4-3. The win was familiar territory for the Braves, who have now won three games in a row.

Mikael Rivera spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered three earned runs on four hits and racked up ten Ks.

At the plate, Adrian Rosario was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three stolen bases, two RBI, and one run. Those three stolen bases gave him a new career-high.

Absegami's record now sits at 9-4-1. As for Cherry Hill East, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Absegami will challenge Egg Harbor Township at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Cherry Hill East, they will take on Cherry Hill West at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
