 Sadly, Curie is still looking for their first win of the season after four  games. They fell victim to a  rough 6-0 defeat at the hands of the Kennedy Crusaders  on Monday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Curie of the  10-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture  last Friday.
 For Kennedy's part,  Michael Gallas was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound,   not allowing a single  earned run while striking out six over 4.1 innings pitched. Gallas was also big at the plate,  scoring a  run and  stealing three bases while going 2-for-3.
 In other pitching news,  Noah Briner looked comfortable as he  tossed 2.2 innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit (he also didn't allow any  walks).
 Back at the plate,  Israel Roa and  Mason Rychetsky did most of the damage at the plate:  Roa  went 3-for-3 with three  doubles and two  runs, while  Rychetsky  went 3-for-4 with two  doubles and two  RBI. Another player making a difference was  Christian Estreda, who  scored two  runs while going 3-for-4.
 Curie's defeat  ended  a  three-game streak of wins at home  dating back to last season and  dropped them to 0-4. As for Kennedy, the  win was  the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-3.
 Curie didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  contest,  a  1-0  loss vs. Hubbard on the 10th. Kennedy has also already played their next matchup,  a  12-2  victory against Kelly on the 10th.
