Basketball Recap: Oblong/Hutsonville/Palestine vs. Altamont Indians
After flying high against Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City last Saturday, Oblong/Hutsonville/Palestine came back down to earth. Oblong/Hutsonville/Palestine fell 56-46 to the Altamont Indians on Tuesday. Oblong/Hutsonville/Palestine lost against Altamont in their previous head to head back in December of 2022, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 75-39 score last time.
Leading Altamont to victory were Kade Milleville and Cooper Mcmanaway. Milleville went 6 for 12 on his way to 17 points in addition to six assists and five rebounds, while Mcmanaway went 6 of 10 en route to 19 points. Milleville has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last eight times he's played. Another player making a difference was Benjamin Roedl, who posted six points and six boards.
