Basketball Recap: Plattsburg Takes a Loss

Plattsburg lost against North Platte back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Plattsburg Tigers were dealt a 58-28 loss at the hands of the North Platte Panthers. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 376th, while the Panthers are ranked 88th).

Plattsburg's defeat dropped their record down to 8-10. As for North Platte, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 21-4 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Plattsburg will face off against Penney at 6:15 p.m. on Monday. As for North Platte, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Panthers duke it out with the Cardinals at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in North Platte's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three contests.
