 The Gainesville Cardinals will head out on the road to  challenge  the Batavia Bulldogs at 1:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Batavia took a loss in their last  contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Gainesville, who comes in off a win.
 It may have taken  eight innings to finish the job, but Gainesville ultimately got the result they hoped for  on Monday. They had just enough and edged Olentangy out  7-6.
  Conor Murray looked comfortable as he  tossed three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   two  hits (he also only allowed one  walk).
 On the hitting side,  Jeremy Hayden was  excellent,  scoring a  run and  stealing two bases while going 2-for-3.  Aaron Ritenour was another key contributor,  scoring a  run while going 2-for-4.
 Meanwhile, Batavia was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight  loss. They took  a  5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Avonworth.
 The  win  got Gainesville back to even at 3-3. As for Batavia, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.
