Soccer Game Preview: Adrian vs. Columbia Central

The Adrian Maples will head out to challenge the Columbia Central Golden Eagles at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Adrian's last five matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

On Wednesday, Adrian didn't have quite enough to beat Milan and fell 3-2. Adrian have struggled against Milan recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Columbia Central waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They walked away with a 4-2 victory over the Titans. Given Columbia Central's advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan soccer rankings (they are ranked 168th, while Lumen Christi Catholic are ranked 383rd) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Adrian's defeat dropped their record down to 7-6-2. As for Columbia Central, their win bumped their record up to 15-3-1.
