Volleyball Recap: Chatham Central Comes Up Short

Chatham Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lee County Yellow Jackets. If the Bears were looking for revenge after losing 3-1 to the Yellow Jackets when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-11, 24-26, 25-11.

Chatham Central's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Lee County, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Chatham Central will venture away from home to challenge Jordan-Matthews at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lee County, they will head out to square off against Northwood at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
