Basketball Recap: Page Drops Season-High Score on Franklin

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Page). They blew past the Franklin Admirals 74-50 on Tuesday. The Patriots have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten games by 20 points or more this season.

Mazie Bushman had an outrageously good game as she went 9 of 11 on her way to 18 points and six rebounds. That's the most boards she has posted since back in December of 2023. The team also got some help courtesy of Samantha Lee, who went 7 of 13 on her way to 15 points.

Page has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 14 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 15-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.4 points per game. As for Franklin, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Page will challenge Nolensville at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Nolensville will roll in looking for their 16th straight victory, something Page surely won't give up without a fight. As for Franklin, they will square off against Centennial at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
