Football Recap: Muenster Makes It Seven in a Row at Home

Muenster won the last time they faced Lindsay and things went their way on Friday too. The Hornets were the clear victors by a 49-28 margin over the Knights. Considering the Hornets have won four matchups by more than 20 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Muenster's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Casen Carney, who rushed for 155 yards and three touchdowns on only 13 carries, and also threw for 175 yards and one TD while completing 91.7% of his passes. Dustyn Croft was another key rusher, gaining 145 total yards and three touchdowns.

Muenster's victory was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-2. Those home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.6 points over those games. As for Lindsay, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 5-1.
