Little Miami starts season with loss on the road

Little Miami kicked off their season on the road on Thursday and hit a couple of potholes. They fell victim to a rough 14-5 defeat at the hands of the Badin Rams. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Little Miami of the 12-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2018.
Little Miami got a good showing from Brayden Hiles, who pitched 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits (he also only allowed one walk).
On the hitting side, Little Miami saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Charlie McGuinness, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.
Little Miami will be playing at home against West Clermont at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Badin, they will take on Archbishop Hoban at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
