Baseball Recap: Mangum Beats Apache for Their Third Straight Win

Mangum made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Apache, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Tigers put the hurt on the Warriors with a sharp 16-5 win on Thursday. Considering the Tigers have won 13 matchups by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory was the third in a row for Mangum, bringing their record up to 14-2. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.0 runs over those games. As for Apache, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-10.

Looking ahead, Mangum will head out on the road to challenge Snyder at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Tigers are facing the Cyclones at the right time seeing as the Cyclones are stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for Apache, they will host Riverside Indian at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
