Volleyball Recap: Groton-Dunstable Finds Home Court Redemption Against Nashoba Regional

There's no place like home for Groton-Dunstable, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Nashoba Regional Wolves on Friday. For the Crusaders, this counts as revenge for the 3-2 win the Wolves walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2024.

Groton-Dunstable had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 17-25, 25-14, 25-22, 25-21.

Bridget Houle paced Groton-Dunstable's offense, picking up 11 kills. Houle got some help from Ella Barske and her 29 assists. Alexa Reed and Molly Daigle kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with five aces apiece.

Despite the loss, Nashoba Regional still got an impressive performance from Faith Windzio, who had eight digs and six aces.

The victory got Groton-Dunstable back to even at 2-2. As for Nashoba Regional, their loss was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-3.
