Softball Recap: Port Allegany Comes Up Short

Port Allegany lost against Johnsonburg back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Gators lost 18-3 to the Rams. The Gators have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Port Allegany saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brynn Evens, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one run. Alayna McKervey also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

Port Allegany's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Johnsonburg, they moved to 4-5 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Coming up, Port Allegany will challenge Oswayo Valley at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Johnsonburg, they will take on Clarion-Limestone at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday.
