Baseball Recap: Corinth Comes Up Short

Corinth's last matchup with New Hope could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's game on Tuesday. Corinth came up short against New Hope, falling 14-4. The Warriors were not able to make up for their defeat to the Trojans from their previous meeting back in May of 2024.

Corinth's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 8-7. As for New Hope, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season.

The teams wasted no time getting back out on the field as they've already faced off again: they played to a 0-0 tie later that day.
