Clay is a perfect 5-0 against St. Augustine since October of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Blue Devils will host the Yellow Jackets at 7:30 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Clay had to skate by with only a one-goal margin when they last took the pitch, which might have inspired the four-goal drubbing they dealt Maclay on Friday. The Blue Devils never let the Marauders get on the board and left with a 4-0 victory. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for Clay's offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

Meanwhile, St. Augustine hadn't done well against Sandalwood recently (they were 0-4 in their previous four matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Yellow Jackets won by a goal and slipped past the Saints 2-1. The score was all tied up 1-1 at the break, but St. Augustine were the better team in the second half.

Clay now has a winning record of 2-1. As for St. Augustine, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Clay beat St. Augustine 2-0 in their previous matchup back in December of 2024. Will the Blue Devils repeat their success, or do the Yellow Jackets have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
