Basketball Recap: Simms Skates Past Valier with Ease

Simms's game on Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Valier Panthers 60-32. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Tigers considering their 29-point performance the matchup before.

Simms' victory bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Valier, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Simms will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Cascade at 7:30 p.m. on January 31st. Valier also won't see the court for a while: their next game is against Heart Butte at 6:30 p.m. on February 7th.
