Recap: Springfield Longhorns vs. South Baca [Campo/Vilas/Pritchett] Patriots
The Springfield Longhorns won the last time they faced the South Baca [Campo/Vilas/Pritchett] Patriots, and things went their way on Saturday too. Springfield snuck past South Baca [Campo/Vilas/Pritchett] with a 48-42 win.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Springfield to victory, but perhaps none more so than Colby Batterton, who scored 22 points along with 8 rebounds and 3 steals. That makes it two consecutive games in which Batterton has scored at least 25% of Springfield's points. Another player making a difference was Cooper Stolebarger, who dropped a double-double on 15 rebounds and 12 blocks.
The victory got Springfield back to even at 1-1. As for South Baca [Campo/Vilas/Pritchett], this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
