Dawson County dropped down to 4-4 on Friday, ending the team's three-game streak of wins. They had to suffer through a 67-13 loss at the hands of the Billings Central Catholic Rams. The Red Devils were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 46-7.

Ethan Rivas threw for 124 yards and two TDs. Caleb Phalen was his top target, picking up 48 receiving yards.

As for Billings Central Catholic, their win bumped their record up to 9-0. Fans of they have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

Billings Central Catholic was led to victory by Ayden Salter and Howie Martin. Salter gained 136 total yards and three touchdowns, while Martin threw for 226 yards and four touchdowns while completing 90% of his passes. What's more, Martin racked up 168.8 passer rating, the most he's had since back in November of 2024.

Coming up, Dawson County will take on East Helena at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Vigilantes will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Red Devils surely won't give up without a fight. Billings Central Catholic does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
