Riverton has gone 5-0 against Mountain View recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Riverton Wolverines will be taking part in a tournament against the Mountain View Buffalos at 1:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Riverton saw some tournament action on Saturday. They fell 71-61 to East. The loss continues a trend for the Wolverines in their matchups with the Thunderbirds: they've now lost five in a row.

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Branden Monroe, who went 6 for 14 on his way to 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Malachi Smith, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and ten boards.

Meanwhile, Mountain View lost to Cokeville on the road by a 52-35 margin on Saturday.

Mountain View's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Riverton, they now have a losing record at 1-2.

Everything came up roses for Riverton against Mountain View when the teams last played back in December of 2022, as the squad secured a 60-29 win. Will Riverton repeat their success, or does Mountain View have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
