The Trinity Catholic Celtics will challenge The Villages Charter Buffalo at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

On Tuesday, everything came up roses for Trinity Catholic against Saint Francis Catholic as the team secured a 63-16 victory. Given the Celtics' advantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 47th, while the Wolves are ranked 603rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask The Villages Charter). They simply couldn't be stopped on Monday as they easily beat Lake Minneola 87-29. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

The Villages Charter has also been performing well recently as they've won 12 of their last 15 games, which provided a nice bump to their 19-5 record this season. As for Trinity Catholic, their victory bumped their record up to 15-7.

Trinity Catholic and The Villages Charter were neck-and-neck in their previous meeting on January 3rd, but Trinity Catholic came up empty-handed after a 63-62 defeat.
