Volleyball Recap: Ruskin Takes a Loss

Ruskin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Grandview Bulldogs, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 last Wednesday.

While Ruskin was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Grandview's winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-20, 25-22.

Grandview can attribute much of their success to Jalen Ngo, who had 12 digs and two assists. Those 12 digs gave Ngo a new career-high.

Ruskin's loss dropped their record down to 8-12-2. As for Grandview, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 16-11-2 record this season.

As of now, neither Ruskin nor Grandview have any future games scheduled.
