Basketball Recap: Roycemore Takes a Loss

Roycemore was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 55-35 to the Cruz Dragons. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Griffins of the 62-56 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January.

Roycemore's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Cruz, with the victory, they broke their eight-game losing streak and moved their record to 1-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Roycemore will venture away from home to face off against Wolcott College Prep at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Cruz will take on Beacon Academy in a holiday battle at at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
