Basketball Recap: Farwell Takes a Loss

Farwell was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 43rd straight loss dating back to last season. They were beaten by the Gladwin Flying G 79-22. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 747th, while the Flying G's are ranked 148th).

Farwell's defeat dropped their record down to 0-21. As for Gladwin, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 17-3 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Farwell will square off against Muskegon Heights at 7:30 p.m. on February 20th. As for Gladwin, they will welcome Alma at 7:30 p.m. on February 21st.
