Baseball Game Preview: Ferndale Eagles vs. Renaissance Phoenix

The Ferndale Eagles will challenge the Renaissance Phoenix at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Ferndale has given up an average of 10.1 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Ferndale lost 13-3 to Clawson on Tuesday.

Ferndale saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jaylin Dennard, who fired off two home runs, two stolen bases, and three RBI while going 3-for-3.

Meanwhile, after soaring to ten runs the game before, Renaissance was a bit more limited in their game on Wednesday. They fell 6-2 to Dearborn.

Renaissance's loss dropped their record down to 19-10. As for Ferndale, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-11.

Ferndale skirted past Renaissance 12-10 when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the Phoenix have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
