            Amphitheater was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight  loss. They lost  3-0 to the Douglas Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup  3-0  on October 6th.
 The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-16,  25-16.

 Douglas' win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Janessa Sanchez, who  had 12  digs.
Amphitheater's loss dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Douglas, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won nine of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record  this season.
