Softball Recap: South Point Takes a Loss

South Point was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 7-5 to the Circleville Tigers, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-5 on Thursday.

South Point's defeat dropped their record down to 14-10. As for Circleville, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-14.

South Point does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Circleville, they will take on Hillsboro at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. The Indians will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something the Tigers surely won't give up without a fight.
