The Lakewood Park Christian Panthers will be playing at home against the Fort Wayne Canterbury Cavaliers at 7:30 p.m. Lakewood Park Christian will be strutting in after a win while Fort Wayne Canterbury will be coming in after a loss.

Having struggled with three defeats in a row, Lakewood Park Christian turned things around against Hamilton on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 61-24 victory over the Marines. The match marked the Panthers' most dominant win of the season so far.

Meanwhile, Fort Wayne Canterbury was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were dealt a 73-28 defeat at the hands of Fort Wayne Bishop Luers. The loss was just more heartbreak for the Cavaliers, who fell 62-59 when the teams last met back in November of 2022.

They got a good chunk of their points from the dynamic duo of Nicholas Collins and Reed Hayes, who each put up six points. Aran Padmalingam held things down on the boards with six rebounds. Sean Lukakingira took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with two assists.

Fort Wayne Canterbury's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Lakewood Park Christian, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-7.

Lakewood Park Christian was dealt a bruising 73-34 loss at the hands of Fort Wayne Canterbury when the teams last played back in February of 2024. That game was all but decided by halftime, at which point Lakewood Park Christian was down 37-16.
