Marcus barely beat Little Elm the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Marauders' pitchers stepped up to hand the Lobos a 13-0 shutout on Friday. The Marauders might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine games by six runs or more this season.

The win made it two in a row for Marcus and bumps their season record up to 16-11. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.0 runs over those games. As for Little Elm, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-12 record this season.

Marcus didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Panther Creek on the 18th. As for Little Elm, they will square off against Lewisville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
