Baseball Recap: Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy Comes Up Short

Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy lost against Susquenita back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The WolfPack lost 16-1 to the Blackhawks. The contest marked the WolfPack's lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Charles Ramos was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI. That double marked the first that he has hit this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy and nudges their season record down to 3-7. As for Susquenita, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-2.

Looking ahead, Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy will be playing in front of their home fans against Newport at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Susquenita, they are taking a road trip to face off against Hanover at 4:15 p.m. on Monday.
