Softball Recap: Palmer Takes a Loss

Palmer was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 17-0 to the Ingomar Falcons. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Falcons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 16-0 on Tuesday.

Palmer's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Ingomar, the victory got them back to even at 5-5.

Looking ahead, Palmer will challenge Rosa Fort at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Ingomar, they will square off against Water Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Blue Devils have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11.3 runs per game on average), something the Falcons will no doubt try to take advantage of.
