After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Lake Washington, Newport - Bellevue was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 24-0 margin over the Sammamish RedHawks. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Knights also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

The win got Newport - Bellevue back to even at 1-1. As for Sammamish, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 1-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Newport - Bellevue will head out to challenge Cedarcrest at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Sammamish, they will venture away from home to face off against Inglemoor at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
