The Waterbury Career Academy Spartans are taking a road trip to face off against the Crosby Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Waterbury Career Academy is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

Last Monday, Waterbury Career Academy earned a 71-64 victory over St. Paul Catholic.

Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Crosby beat Kennedy 70-66 on Monday.

Waterbury Career Academy better keep an eye on Cj Mcrae. He was instrumental in Crosby's win, putting up 18 points and five steals. Mcrae is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last six games he's played. Gerimiah Watson was another key player, almost dropping a double-double on 11 points and nine rebounds.

Crosby smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive rebounds in seven consecutive matches.

Waterbury Career Academy pushed their record up to 6-0 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Crosby, the victory was their first at home , bumping their record up to 4-5.

Waterbury Career Academy didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Crosby when the teams last played back in February of 2024, but they still walked away with a 66-62 win. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was Crosby's Daniel Melendez, who went 11 of 21 on his way to 24 points and five rebounds.
