Preview: Cascade Christian Challengers vs. Warrenton Warriors
Cascade Christian is on a 12-game streak of home wins (dating back to last season), while Warrenton is on a three-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Cascade Christian Challengers will take on the Warrenton Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Cascade Christian has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 401 points over their last eight matches.
Cascade Christian put the finishing touches on their ninth blowout victory of the season on Friday. They took their matchup on the road with ease, bagging a 41-12 win over South Umpqua. The matchup was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Cascade Christian had established a 22 point advantage.
Ashton Moody went supernova for Cascade Christian, throwing for 343 yards and five touchdowns. The team also got some help courtesy of Caleb Scaglione, who gained 99 total yards and three touchdowns.
Meanwhile, Warrenton had to suffer through a rough 42-8 loss at the hands of Banks. While losing is never fun, Warrenton can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oregon football rankings (they are ranked 95th, while Banks is ranked 26th).
Cascade Christian's win lifted them to 9-0 while Warrenton's defeat dropped them down to 5-4.
