Volleyball Recap: McLoughlin Takes a Loss

After flying high against Umatilla on Thursday, McLoughlin came back down to earth. The Pioneers fell 2-0 to the Ione/Arlington Cardinals on Saturday. The Pioneers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Cardinals earlier this season, when they won 3-0.

McLoughlin's loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Ione/Arlington, their win was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-1.

McLoughlin has already played their next match (against Riverside), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Ione/Arlington, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-1 defeat against Irrigon on the 13th.
