Troy waltzed into their matchup on Monday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They never let the Whitney Wildcats get on the board and left with a 15-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Trojans, who have now won 16 contests by six runs or more so far this season.
Isabella Garcia was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in 12 consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.
In other batting news, Jae Jae Phillips was incredible, firing off two home runs, three runs, and four RBI while going 3-for-4.
