While Magna Vista put up plenty of runs on Thursday, the same can't be said for George Washington. The Warriors put the hurt on the Eagles with a sharp 20-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 21-0 back in April.

Magna Vista is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-10 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.8 runs over those games. As for George Washington, they dropped their record down to 1-9 with the loss, which was their fifth straight at home.

Coincidentally, Magna Vista and George Washington will both be playing Martinsville the next time they take the field. The Warriors will host the Bulldogs at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Eagles will play them later in the day, at 5:30 p.m.
