It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Kaiser can now relate to. They fell just short of the Costa Mesa Mustangs by a score of 5-3 on Thursday. The Cats' defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Kaiser saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aldo Garcia, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI.

Kaiser's loss dropped their record down to 17-10. As for Costa Mesa, they pushed their record up to 23-6 with the victory, which was their 13th straight at home.

Kaiser does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Costa Mesa, they are taking a road trip to take on San Juan Hills at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Mustangs 2.7, the Stallions 3.2) so any runs scored will be well earned.
