Basketball Recap: Scott City Takes a Loss

Scott City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 51-45 heartbreaker at the hands of the Scott County Central Braves. The Rams were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Braves apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Scott City's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Scott County Central, their win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-7.

Scott City will head out to take on East Prairie at 6:00 p.m. on February 3rd. As for Scott County Central, they will square off against Chaffee at 7:30 p.m. on February 3rd.
