Christian Brothers Academy dropped their record down to 12-2 on Thursday, which also ended the team's four-game streak of wins. They took a 3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the St. Peter's Prep Marauders. The match marked the first time this season in which the Colts were not able to get on the board.

As for St. Peter's Prep, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-5. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.0 runs over those games.
