St. Charles is 8-1 against Coleman since February of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The St. Charles Bulldogs will look to defend their home court against the Coleman Comets at 7:00 p.m.
St. Charles is headed into the contest having just suffered their biggest defeat since January 14th on Wednesday. They lost 59-34 to Laingsburg. Perhaps unsurprisingly, the Bulldogs' biggest loss of the season was also their lowest-scoring.

Allison Zelinko put forth a good effort for the losing side as she went 6-for-10 en route to 13 points and six steals. Zelinko is crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Coleman). They walked away with a 48-41 win over Farwell on Wednesday. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Comets with their most commanding win of the season.
Coleman's win came from a few key players St. Charles will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Klaira Sysak, who went 6-for-11 to rack up 13 points and eight boards. Those 13 points gave her a new career-high. Kendall Allen was another key player, putting up 16 points.
Coleman smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 17 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
St. Charles' loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-6. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 26.3 points over those games. As for Coleman, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-16.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: St. Charles has been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 26.2 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Coleman struggles in that department as they've been averaging 28.6 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
